How parents reach this screen

Camp staff add the parent's email and phone to the camper profile in the Chirp app, checking a required attestation that the parent has consented to emergency SMS at that number.
Chirp emails the parent a unique tokenized link from the camp.
The parent clicks the link and lands on this screen, types the camper's first name and checks the guardian box, then taps Confirm consent.
Only after the parent confirms is SMS enabled for that contact. The parent can reply STOP to any message to revoke at any time.

Parental consent for Sam

Demo Camp has added a profile for Sam on Chirp and needs your consent before sending you emergency text messages or storing your child's photo and medical documents.

What is collected

Identity (name, date of birth), photo, allergies, medications, dietary restrictions, special needs, emergency notes, and your contact information.

How it is used

Camp safety operations, internal staff communication, and emergency contact. Data is shared with service providers (Twilio for SMS, Resend for email, Cloudflare for storage) only as needed to deliver the service. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

If you don't consent

Demo Camp can still keep Sam's basic profile, but emergency text messages, emergency emails, photo storage, and medical-document storage will be disabled until you confirm.
